The refurbishment of Chichester House in Belfast has transformed the building into a premium corporate office space for Rapid7, designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and employee well being. This state-of-the-art workspace reflects both Rapid7’s core values and the rich cultural heritage of Northern Ireland, creating an environment that balances dynamic teamwork with focused, individual workspaces.
Wallace Whittle provided full MEP consultancy for the project, ensuring a highly efficient and sustainable office environment. The design incorporates advanced heat pump systems for heating and cooling, coupled with energy-efficient LED lighting, delivering an ultra-low energy workspace. Smart occupancy sensors were integrated throughout the building to optimise space usage, further enhancing energy efficiency.
The office features a range of unique and high-specification amenities, including a two-storey auditorium, bar facilities, technology workshops, and external terraces, all carefully designed to prioritise employee experience and well-being. This cutting-edge office space sets a new standard for workplace design, offering an engaging and collaborative setting that enables Rapid7’s teams to thrive.
