Dickson Minto, Edinburgh

This project involved a comprehensive office fit-out designed to rejuvenate the existing space at 6 St Andrews Square, while enhancing functionality, flexibility, and aesthetics.

A new reception area, 17 bespoke private offices, 3 boardrooms, 4 open-plan office zones, breakout collaboration spaces, and a commercial kitchen with staff cafeteria were created for Dickson Minto. Selected areas were partially cellularised to provide privacy while maintaining a sense of openness. Feature lighting in the boardrooms and reception helped elevate the interior design and create an engaging work environment.

We provided full MEP consultancy for the project. With careful attention paid to integrating heating, cooling, and ventilation systems via VRF all-electric technology, as well as lighting, power, data, fire alarm, access control, and local drainage and water services. The upgrade to LED lighting and the adjustment of HVAC systems were coordinated to maximise both efficiency and occupant comfort.
