Cardinal Newman Library, Belfast

Wallace Whittle was appointed as part of a multi-disciplinary design team to deliver the refurbishment of the Library Accommodation at St. Mary’s University College, Belfast.

The newly refurbished accommodation provides state-of-the-art facilities and hosts an open plan environment supplemented with Meeting Rooms of various sizes, Local Services Areas and Private Study Areas on each level. The central atrium was extended to the ground fl oor to create a feature collaborative stair as the focal point of the development.
