Marshgate Lane

Marshgate Lane PBSA is a new student living development in London’s East End, set to welcome its first residents in the 2028/29 academic year. This 8-storey scheme will provide 321 bedspaces, along with flexible commercial and community spaces, including artist studios.

Wallace Whittle is providing full MEP consultancy, contributing expertise in energy, sustainability, and vertical transportation. The development features a fabric-first design, utilises the East London District Heating Network, and includes a rooftop PV array to support the energy strategy, aligned with the Greater London Plan.

Targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification, the residences are designed with the student experience in mind, offering social spaces, dining areas, and rooftop terraces that seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living for both lively gatherings and quiet reflection.
