Adel Beck Secure Care Unit

Adel Beck Secure Unit is one of the most modern and technically advanced secure facilities for young people in the UK. The facility includes 32 secure bedrooms with en-suites, 6 high-dependency DDA-compliant bedrooms with en-suites, as well as a range of support facilities including general and vocational education classrooms, physical education and leisure spaces, central laundry and kitchen facilities, administrative offices, and staff amenities.

The security systems were a critical component of the project and include CCTV, door access, staff alarm systems with two-way speech, bedroom call systems, and perimeter detection. All security systems are fully integrated through a central control hub, equipped with two Graphical User Interfaces (GUI), enabling operators to monitor and control all systems from a single interface.
