Position Summary:
To develop skills necessary to carry out the role of a Sustainability Consultant.
Responsibilities and authority:
- Assist in the delivery of Energy, Carbon and wider sustainability certification assessments
- Adopt a responsible attitude to and actively undertake training
- Regularly review personal workload to allow forward planning. Develop and frequently review priority lists of programmed tasks
- Ensure application and maintenance of all Quality System procedures
- Carry out all personal management duties including weekly recording of man-hour commitments to individual projects
- Comply with all security procedures and commercial in-confidence restrictions associated with work duties
- Contribute to the maintenance of the highest possible standards of design and reporting by developing a good working knowledge of proven building services systems and new developments in the Building Services industry
- To contribute to ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with the relevant ISO and national legislation
- To ensure contract compliance with the Integrated Management System, by supporting the administration of the Internal Audit programme, corrective action and customer feedback registers
Education and Experience:
- Educated to degree level in a related discipline preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided on the job.

Essential:
- Excellent communication skills, coupled with a flexible and proactive approach to work and a willingness to share knowledge to thrive in this busy team
- The ability to produce and review high quality reports to predefined deadlines
- Competent PC user
- The successful candidate will be required to contribute to reports for clients and so attention to detail, reliability, good organisational skills are paramount
Desirable:
- Experience in the building services industry is considered an advantage

Position Summary:
To produce of sustainable building services solutions on individual projects. Be a proactive member of the sustainability team. Contribute to the development of the sustainability team assisting with research.
Responsibilities and authority:
- Carry out the responsibilities of a Sustainability Consultant including delivery of Energy Strategies for new buildings to achieve compliance with energy and carbon targets; Delivery of IES energy and thermal models and the output reporting as required, including EPC’s
- Adopt a responsible attitude to and actively undertake training
- Regularly review personal programme workload. Develop and frequently review priority lists of programmed tasks
- Ensure application and maintenance of all Quality System procedures
- Carry out all personal management duties including weekly recording of man-hour commitments to individual projects
- Comply with all security procedures and commercial in-confidence restrictions associated with work duties
- Contribute to the maintenance of the highest possible standards of design and reporting by developing a good working knowledge of proven building services systems and new developments in the Building Services industry

- The successful candidate will be required to deliver reports for clients and so attention to detail, reliability, good organisational skills are paramount
- Ability to confidently attend external design team meetings and workshops, delivering expertise and advice in relation to sustainable building services solutions
- Happy to work in local office and travel to other offices when required

Position Summary:
To manage and lead the delivery of sustainable building services solutions on individual projects; to be a proactive member of the sustainability team; to contribute to the resource allocation of sustainability requirements as project work demands; contribute to the development of the sustainability team with marketing and fee bids and keeping up to date with current Legislation and Planning Policies.
Responsibilities and authority:
- Delivery of Energy Strategies for Planning Applications
- Lodgement of SAP calculations
- Lodgement of non-domestic and domestic EPCs
- Delivery of Sustainability Statements for Planning Applications
- Knowledge of BREEAM / WELL
- Knowledge of Home Quality Mark (HQM)
- Thermal modelling to Level 5 (preferred)
- Knowledge of façade performance and U-value calculations
- Knowledge of Energy Auditing and Assessment

Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Directly reports to: Senior Engineer / Associate

Location: Aberdeen
Position Summary:
To support the Senior/Associate Engineer(s) in producing robust design solutions including drawing and written deliverables with moderate supervision.
Responsibilities and authority:
- Produce Electrical Design drawings, calculations (Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Relux, Dialux, MEPWorx), reports, specifications and schedules
- Contribute to BREEAM or equivalent legislation
- Contribute to Building Regulations Section 6 compliance modelling
- Witness test the proving and commissioning procedures of final installations
- Assist the development of trainee engineers
- Work to internal and external project programs effectively
- Work to company Quality Assurance management systems
- Support Senior/ Associate Engineers and Management
Education and Experience:
- Engineering degree preferred. Minimum Engineering HNC/D or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a Building Services consultancy required.
